If you are going to Las Vegas, you've got to add a Grand Canyon bus tour to your things to do. These trips are fun, safe and affordable. Especially when you consider the deals listed on this page. I make it my business to scour the Internet for the best coach promotions. I first check for validity - half the stuff out there is expired. Then I review redemption terms and conditions. Lastly, I submit it to the tour operator because everything I post must have a 100% acceptance rate.

All-Inclusive Tours

Grand Canyon bus tours depart from Las Vegas in the morning every day of the year and go to the West Rim and the South Rim. Expect to spend a full day on these road trips. Packages are all-inclusive and typically include complimentary hotel pick up and drop off, lunch, all park fees, professional guide and a Hoover Dam photo stop. Seriously, you can't get a better travel value for the money.

West Rim Tours

The West Rim is located 120 miles from Las Vegas. It takes motor coaches about 2.5 hours to drive there. Some travelers prefer to self-drive, but in this case, I don't recommend it: the last ten miles of road is in bad condition and the fees you'll pay along the way are excessive.

This rim is packed with activities and attractions. The main points of interest are Guano Point, Eagle Point and the Indian Cultural Center. The #1 attraction is Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass bridge that lets you walk 70 feet past the edge.

South Rim Tours

The South Rim bus is the most popular tour in Vegas. It's here where you'll see the "official" Grand Canyon. Key sights include Mather Point, Yaki Point, Yavapai Observation Station and Grand Canyon Village. This rim is 270 miles from Vegas and is a 5.5-hour drive. The tour starts at 7 a.m. and has you back at your Strip hotel by around 9 p.m. It's definitely a full day but worth every minute.

Meet the NEW Motor Coach

Making these bus tours so much more enjoyable are the luxury motor coaches that go between Vegas and the canyon. These buses are phenomenal and come with on-board bathroom, pull-down blinds, lounge-style seats, plasma TVs and a whisper-ride suspension that gives you the feeling you're floating on air.

Road Trip!

No trip to Las Vegas is complete without a bus tour to the canyon. The cost is already a steal. Now combine them with these coupons and it's an absolute bargain. West Rim weather is a lot like Vegas'. The South Rim's elevation is 7,000 feet so it's cooler during summer and much colder during winter. My advice is dress accordingly. The only thing left is to book that tour and hit the road!
